TYRE CHOICE ON R1200GS

Can anyone tell me what what tyres best suite the 1200gs ? i have bridgestones on at present & a friend of mine has michelins on .Has anyone tried continentals? the bike is used all year round average mileage 15k pa
hope you guys can give some advise on whats out there!

Michelin Anakee's for good grip and feel, cold/hot/dry wet weather.

Lasts about 7k if 50% is 2 up riding.
