Hi all,
I am thinking about buying a pair of tyres for my Airhead Gs mail order and then having them fitted. I know M&S wont and I don't think Ian Bell's are to keen.
I live North of Hexham and am looking for somwhere to have them fitted but obviously will have to travel with the loose wheels but if the distance is to far it wipes out the saving in buying loose tyres.
An ideas

Thanks

Place in Whitley Bay, Foxhunters Ind Est did mine for the 1200. Just took in the loose wheels and tyres, think I paid £15 a wheel for fitting, balancing and new valves. Can't remember the name but will look it up if its not too far for you to travel.

Hi all,

Finally bought the tyres and got them fitted at Ian Bell's at Bedlington. Fitted to loose wheels at a good price. Worth considering.!

Ian Bell still to the fore? Bought a new XJ 900F in 1987.

Yes Ian Bell is still in business, the shop has been refurbed and extended.A long way for you to travel. but the service is good and the price I paid was v competetive.

apparently he is going back to the sidecar TT next year with his lad in the chair.
