Tyre Mileage on 1200GSA

5200 out of the rear EXP just received some shiny new original tourances to replace the EXP's so that's Saturdays job. I might have went went with EXP's again if they hadn't been £50 more a pair and they were easier to get hold of. The tyre people mustn't be selling many of them so they just don't stock them I guess.

I have just worn out my rear Metzler Tourance after 4000 miles, does this sound right as I think it is a bit low?
I tend to stay off the m/ways and don't accelerate hard (not often anyway!).

Any thoughts?

I just changed my front and rear tyres last week - I got 11850 out of the last set - Conti Attacks. Very impresses, fresh set fitted last week. Same again.

I just changed my rear tyres last week - I got 14600 Km or 9120 miles out of it - Conti Attacks, very good tire.
I have all ready get Michelin Anakee 2 rear and front, thise will be my next tire.
Actually my new rear is Bwinds 502 have nothing to seed about.

I'm very satisfied with the Conti Trail Attack. 19000 km or 11800 miles and still good for a thousand more with enough thread depth to be legal . These tires are really surefooted both wet or dry. A new set is already waiting in my garage, recommended
