Tyre needles and full tubeless repair kits in waterproof tubes

hi there fae sunny scotland (the noo) i would be interested in one o these kits thanks .pm the details at your leisure thanks

If you're willing to ship to Sweden (for a few kronor extra) I'm in for one as well :thumb2 Would also prefer smaller tubes though...

Fanum - just been and looked, the one at Busters is the Slime Power Pump. So that will do for me if you have seen it in action and reckon it is OK - £35 they are (will do for car and trailer and every fink.):thumb2

I think it would be wise of me to buy one as the original one from the bike is now 6 yrs old.

I have never had to fix a punture in a tubeless tyre :clap. Is there a good instruction booklet on the web?

Finally, tyre levers for use on the GSA spoke wheels. The touratech ones look futuristic but, are they any good?

Reason is I rode with a guy whose valve stem rubber split and we had to change it from the inside.

I'll have one, please. Any idea when they'll be ready to ship? I'll be in the UK from the 14th - 19th of August, and ideally would want to take delivery around then. Is that possible?

Interested!

I would be interested certainly in one and maybe two of these kits please :thumb2

Reamed out hole in the rear of my 1200 pushed in the goey stick with the needle, trimmed of the excess and did 2k miles up to and around Scotland:oonyack its still going strong.

You get the reamer, needle, and goey sticks.no gas canisters etc.

Good job I haven't committed yet then I guess :)

My supplier wants a MOQ of 1000 units and I don't have the cash available to do that, plus the requisite number of cases etc etc......I'm still going to go ahead I think, but it's not going to be in the next few weeks.

PS £4.99 is good and don't worry about pissing on chips......it does rather make a reamer tool being proposed at £20 alone look like what it really is doesn't it :thumb2

I'm still hoping that my kits will come out at a fair price but be a little more complete and dual-sport bike friendly (ie w/proof proper tube that's easily strapped to a bike etc)

Just waiting for yet another reply about MOQ's at the moment :)

i'll be in for a kit as well......

as and when..

Two for me please! :thumb

And I have a UK address so that you don't have to send it out to Darkest Africa!!

An update on this.....

I can get the combined reamer/open eye needle insertion tools, the tube manufacturers will do small volume orders for me and I can get as many rat tails and tubes of vulcanising glue as I need....but the supplier of the needle/reamer will only do them in a minimum order quantity of 5000 units:eek::rolleyes:

I'd love to be able to go ahead, 'cos I do think these would be good kits, but I'm afraid I'm unable to afford the MOQ of 5k units, especially as I might only sell couple of hundred here at most.

So, for the time being, I won't be going ahead with this project- very sorry, and thanks for the interest:thumb2

It does, however, leave me holding a large number of Rat-tails and tubes of glue that I'd already sourced.......I've got all I need on board the Moto Morocco Support vehicles and bikes, so you guys might as well have the rest if you want them.......

They are compatible with the standard issue BMW needle insertion tool BTW.......it's just a matter of following the instructions I posted earlier in this thread.

You don't actually need the vulcanising glue either (not something I ought to be saying in a thread where I'm trying to sell stuff I guess:blast) as the rat tails are quite 'gummy' anyway- the glue just 'makes sure' and also , it does help in getting the sticky rat tails into the carcass of the tyre.

So....here we go.....I've got several hundred of these, so how does a fiver for 5 sheets sound?
There are five rat tails per sheet, so that's 25 repairs for a fiver :thumb2

I've got about 40 tubes of the pukka vulcanised glue as well....these are the big tubes, 50g size so one of those ought to see out all of those 25 rat tails.

I've no idea how to send the glue out safely though, so Unless anyone has any brilliant ideas, I'll keep thinking on that one.

Please say here if you want some rat tails and then PM me for my address.....
I can take paypal if you like, or send me a £5 note in an envelope and stick in a small, pre-addressed jiffy bag and I'll pop them in the post by return :thumb2

I'll have to make do with my BMW corkscrew wrapped up in a rag then. :(
I will have a set of rat tails though.
