Tyre Pressure Monitor Problem

If the sensors in the car is not using radio. How will the car "know" that the preasure is dropping ? The sensor is inside the tire. :blagblah:rolleyes:
Even though it is not showing the preasure it must tell the computer that there has been a change in the preasure.

Because every time that you adjust the tyre pressure you initialise the system. This records the rolling circumference of the tyre and the computer detects any sudden change in this. There is no sensor inside the tyre....

TPC probs

Coincedentally yesterday, I was riding back from Wales after a weekend trip and I got the big red light on the dashboard and the TPC control flashing with the front tyre pressure reading 1.0bar or similar. I stopped the bike, checked the tyre and found nothing wrong and restarted the bike. The TPC was fine and the pressure readings were as before.
Shortly before the TPC went loopy, I had braked quite heavily and I wonder whether that upset the sensor?
