I'm thinking of getting some OEM gold wire wheels for my '19 GS TE. It's currently on black cast wheels.
Does anyone know if the tire pressure sensors in the cast wheels will fit the wire wheels? I've checked through the BMW parts lists, and the sheet for the cast wheels doesn't show the sensors, while the sheet for the wire wheels does. I can't check if they are the same part.
I always use the tire pressure monitoring system, and it's alerted me to punctures before I could feel them several times. They're also brilliant when riding on a road-side repaired tire so you can see if it's holding pressure (did that once two-up with luggage in Northern France dashing to get the ferry). Therefore, I obviously want to keep the sensors, and I'm hoping it will just be a straight swap. If not, and the sensors are somehow different I guess I'm going to have to get new ones, and get BMW to synch them to the bike.
