Hi

This may be normal but during a ride today the rear tyre warning came on flashing away at 2.4 bar the front read 1.9
Stopped and checked the tyre all seemed fine. Off and on with the ignition it went away for 10 miles then rear began flashing again.
Is the differential to great, pressure to low or faulty sender ?
Not really had much dealing with these.

Mine was doing the same a few weeks ago they had a look at it on its first service and guess what it needed a bit of air in the front all ok now!!

Yes will try that when I get back.

Manual, what's one of them. ;)

Soooooo your tyre low pressure warning was flashing and you wondered what it could be.
......and you hadn't checked that there was sufficient air in the tyre.

OH DEAR GOD :blast

Not disputing the actual warning, always check tyres before riding but with 2.4 bar in at the start and 10 mile ride before coming on with still 2.4 bar , so what changed ? Hardly confidence inspiring.
34 psi not really flat is it. Will fill up to the manual and see if it goes away :comfort

If the manual says that the tyre pressure should be 42 and yours is reading 34 then I'm not surprised that the tyre warning is flashing.

Mine has been doing the same. Rear inflated to 42 psi but drops to 36/34 within a longish ride or week un-used but does not go any lower? Wheel and tyre tested in a bath for leaks by dealer, but nothing found, and valve replaced. Keeping a check on it now.

Had the 'TPS sensor' flashing away merrily at me for about 6 weeks or so over winter ( I commute daily ) - various pressures showing front and rear - no loss of air just dodgy readings. I guessed it was the batteries in the tyre but they seem to have settled back down without any fettling required. Annoying to have the dash warning flashing at you though....
Bike is 2008 GSA with 65,000 miles
