Tyre sizes for 1150 GSA

Does anyone know the max tyre size I could fit to my 1150 GSA on the standard GSA rim. I'm thinking of having a set of road tyres fitted as i never take the GSA off road. Can I fit a wider tyre or should I stick to the standard size.....?

I've got a 160 section Avon on the rear.
Anything bigger may foul the swingarm.

I think Cool Carbon had a 160 section Bridgestone 020 fitted on a standard wire GS rim before he had 17" alloys on his bike, but I understand it is possible to fit a 170 section on a 5.0 rim and just squeeze a 180 in on a 5.5 rim
