Tyres again.

Anybody out there point me in the best direction for a good deal on a set of tyres for me 1150....... in or around Croydon / Surrey if poss....... Ta

Always used Sones Tyres when I lived in that neck - do a lot of racing gear and know what they are doing, and were always cheapest. Not been there for a while though.

Now closed down. Along with my local tyre man in Southfields. Shortage of decent tyre suppliers in the whole area

Bugger, just tried to phone Sones Tyres and the number was dead.

Did a search on here to find that they are no more.

That is a real blow, they were a brilliant tyre dealer, you could always trust them with your bike, the prices were good and the bloke who ran it was really nice.
I always wondered if that little wooden ramp into his workshop would hold out.

I got the impression that he did quite well from the business so perhaps he's just retired and closed down.

Brian Giles in Pembury, Kent fits tyres so I guess I can use him but he's not that local.

Also, SLM use a tyre dealer in South Croydon so they could be another option.
