Morning all, I am looking for a tyre supplier and fitter in the Glasgow area. Preferably ride in ride out. Michelin PR3 Trail I think.

I have only moved into the area recently so not that familiar with who is what and where.

Thanks for any help.

Gareth

If you buy online then Quick Shift Tyres at 23 Clydebrae Street will fit them but they aren't exactly cheap.

If you want a nice run to finish off your old tyres and scrub in the new on the way home go to:-

Strathearn Tyres Burrell Street, Crieff, Perthshire PH7 4DG

Tel: 01764 655 904.

Good lads, biking people, good prices but a wee bit up the road towards Perth.

Cheers

I was in Crieff yesterday for a run out, I'll remember that one. Cheers.
Don't know if this is any use to you but if you can get any tyres for Internet deals there is a guy in saltcoates that will change them and balance wheels for £12 a tyre, that's on a loose wheel, if you want to negotiate a price for ride in and ride out with him I'm sure he will be amenable. He's based from home in saltcoates, again a nice ride from Glasgow.
I don't have his number on me but if you're interested I'll get it for you.

Ride in. Leave the bike. Ride out. Recommended but go on a week day if you can. Gets very busy at weekends.

Definately Strathearn tyres. Nice ride up, even better from north Glasgow. Drop the bike off cross the street and up to the bakers for a snack. The run back gets the tyres scrubbed in, as previously said.

+1 :thumb

Strathearn Tyres every time!

No hassles with loose wheels and such faffing.
Great ride out too.

Ride in ride out even have a nice coffee/tea/chocolate machine.
40 mins on a Friday pm in mid July.

Very keen prices. £235 for PR3s for my RT.
They were £280 last year at Strathearn so keen to move prices down too!

Thanks

Thanks for the info. Sorry for the delay in replying. I have been driving up through France and UK back to Glasgow for the last couple of days. Knackered!

Actually that is a point. I will be driving a Van back to the Poitiers area of France in a few months. If anyone needs anything run to that area from Glasgow/Scotland let me know.
