Popped my cherry so to speak on a few of the North Wales lanes on Saturday on the new to me WR250 with Chris, Neil and Justin, Thanks guys.
The bike currently has Mousses fitted front and rear but the rear tyre is Shagged and I think possibly the mousse as it was like riding on a bowl of jelly. Great off road but on the road sections as the speed got up in to the 50's it was horrible.
So a few questions if I may. What tyre and where to buy, Cheshire / North Wales. If ditching the mousse, what is the best sort of pump to carry or co2 canisters (not very enviromentely friendly). Tyre leavers, how many and any recommendations, is it worth getting the ones with the spanner for the wheels on?
I have seen the various lists on here for what to carry, I like to be prepared but don't want to look like a pack mule out on the trails.
Cheers is advance. Stuart
