It's been along time since the U.D.M.C last had a trail ride together 10 months to be exact
So Sunday morning we met up a 8.30 am
It was dry but cold but we new we'd soon warm up when we hit the trails .

You won't find any new bling enduro bikes here you don't need them as we'll prove later :augie

Me Dr350 ,Dibble XR400 ,Tarby Husky 410 ,Big Gav XL600 ,Buzza DR600.

We met up with another big group of riders on a fine BLING selection of enduro and MX bikes
We were all heading the same way so we rode for together for the next few miles :augie

We met up with the others here.
I sneaked off before everyone else and luckily made it through :P

We headed further up into the hills.

The views really are stunning even on a cloudy day.

All too soon a decision had to be made take the long way home on the road or back the way we came.
Offroad it would be but we'd have to get a move on.
so back onto the bikes.
by this point we were pretty tired
The way home.

Didn't realise we'd come as far.

217258290-L.jpg

Low cloud and darkness were starting to make riding even harder.
Try and pick your line through this :tears

Big Gav feeling the strain smallest person biggest bike.

Tarby's Husky needing a re-fuel .:D
Just before the return crossing off the motorway :spitfire

At this point I wished I'd taken the road home :o
So could I make over the bog in one piece ?

Could I FEK:tears
Managed to jump the big ditch at the widest point but went over the handle bars in the process catching my knee hard on the bar ends :tears
It was fekking sore the bars knocked my knee protectors out the way

Tarby caught the aftermath on his camera phone :o

He also caught Buzza :D

And I caught him after a big off.
Don't know if he was checking his ribs or his pocket full of Mars bars :augie

Then the DR600 decided to loose the it's clutch no drive :tears
We still had along way to go home but luckily we adjusted the clutch out and it started to work again :clap

We finally made it home for 6pm freezing cold, knackered ,limping :o and wet :D

Can't think of a better way to spend a Sunday :beerjug:

Nice one Forry, I can't wait to get up there and fall off the Berg:o

So, bling ain't the thing?

Yummy!
When is it my turn?:augie
Looks like the older the bike, the better off in the bogs you are.....
RickA, your in the shit bigtime....:thedummy

I best give Forry a good pasting next week, whilst I can!:rob

Timpo.

Great photos and video.:thumb2

It's nice that everyone was enthusiastic about riding back the way they came.
I remember Timpo telling the group that the road out of the motorway was blocked and that we had to ride back the way we came :thedummy:thedummy:thedummy
(I was safe with the knowledge that there was a fire road out:D)

How is the knee now?

... Knee's on the mend now Arnica seems to work well...

I'm glad to hear that, Forry. Why don't you use it on the other knee as well?

Fantastic report and pics! :thumb2 I really have to come to Berwick at some point (looks rather unlikely this side of Christmas though... :().

But in 2008! It might be an idea to have one of the UK Advrider Rallies in your neck of the woods? Just a thought... :D
