We are off to Brittany in the morning, Liverpool to Portsmouth and there are weather warnings due to the rain thats on its way......

Time for the wetsuit I fear! Been waiting for holidays all summer and now the heaviest rain of the 'summer' hits home.

Oh joy. Thank god for goretex.

Rain's only a problem when you're planning a trip or actually riding in it....look back at a holiday and you don't remember it so much

I just rode 500kms home in the pouring down rain to.... eh..... escape the UK rain...

Oh well... At least I found out my rain gear works...

One of these days I'll come over and get nice weather for exploring your wunnerful B-roads...

Just back from a 300km ride in the glorious sunshine - 27*

Holy moly - now that was a rainy journey to portsmouth! Heated grips are a true godsend....
Still, once we got there the sun stayed out for 7 glorious days. brittany was awesome. The granite coast was just stunning and deserted roads from start to finish. Dinan was stunning as a medieval town (good market too!). Dinard, beaches, twisty roads, awesome sea food. Whole trip was great - topped off with a great B and B just outside Dinan - 'Vue de la Rance' in La Hisse.

And true to form, it started raining five miles out of portsmouth all the way home! comedy.

Still - what challenges you makes you stronger as they say.

Oh BTW muffs are even better . I've only ever worn some lightweight unlined gloves since I bought 'em, come rain or shine .
