UK AdvRider Rally - Rhayader, Wales

Well done Rocks it looks like everyone had a stonking weekend.

How come you didn't get arrested by the GS club police, I thought under section 553.7 sub section 46b of their rule book no one was allowed to have an event the same weekend as one of theirs  ;)

We took to the trails to evade them.............

:hide

only 'cos I did the road ride, I'm in the club you know, it's a bit nearer than lands end for me so wales gets my vote every time :thumb :thumb :thumb

looking forward to seeing you all again

I think I'll go and sign up for adv riders ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

Dreading to look..

Possu.. I washed the bike down yesterday to get the dust off, but it stuck like glue in some places..lol.. hopefully the "usual welsh weather" will cure it for me, but I also dread to look to closely.. ignorance is bliss. :D

So where is the photo then?? :nenau

Trippy indeed it was a fabulous weekend with a complete bunch of strangers who were utterly fabulous guys and of course not forggeting Possu's far better half :augie Pumpy (Ela) who did a fab job of guiding us bunch of missfits about..

Now to plan the return trip.:blast

I will be popping back regulalry for some more of this, and handy for my mum's too :D

Details of some other proposals on the other place.

Thanks all! :beerjug:

Great write up Rocks ,Possu and Ela looks like a cracking weekend. Wales is my favorite place for trail riding I'll definitely try and make the next one.:thumb
PS
Can't believe Ela screamed going threw the water :D

Further trips in planning

Thanks Forry.. would be good to see you again in Llangollen, and you certainly should make the trip down more often. I was impressed at some of the distances people travelled to come along.

Futher trips are in the planning. I recconing there be scope for 3 advr gettogathers in the year.. though one option for a peaks weekend is being considered too. Will post some ideas up later in the week and see what people think..

A Memory Map track of our route

Hi Folks

I have a route of day 1.

IT IS NOT A ZIP FILE

It's a memory map overlay, but I can't attach it without changing the file extension to something else. So do a "save as" and change the extension to .MMO

And you'll need Memory map to decipher it, unless of course there is some fancy trick I'm not aware of ...

There's a bit missing (shown as a straight line) where my bluetooth reciever switched itself off, but that was on the road home anyway.
