UKGSer 'Dent event' Friday 19th - Sunday 21st May 2017

Has my dining room and staff arrived yet?

It's all sorted, along with the requested personally inscribed copy of the Labour Party manifesto and don't worry we have managed to only employ union staff :D :thumby:

PS ignore the Welsh one as he has no appreciation of the value of raspberry vodka :beerjug:

We might manage to take some bramble Gin..that's if I get time to strain it first and then sample to make sure that it's safe to drink

Well I'm on my way!

Took the XR to Hilltop last week and instructed Geoff to de-tune Giles' bike to 45bhp when he turns up tomorrow ;)

Then I got a phone call from CCM to say my new GP450SR was ready to be collected so I've decided to change plans and am now sat in a hotel in Bolton full of Chinese people
I've sneaked the old CCM into the van and driven up North, will go to the factory first thing and pick up the new one, will fit some metal mule panniers and fill em with the odd bits of stuff I managed to throw together in great haste this afternoon. All being well I'll be over in Dent tomorrow afternoon all set to run the bike in on some great ride outs before getting the first service done back at the factory on Monday!

So tomorrow will be both first time in Dent and Happy New a Bike Day :bounce1

The hardest bit will be getting the new bike home and back in the garage without the Missus realising I've changed it :D

If I so much as change my air filter my partner seems to know so how you can manage to swap a complete bike I'll never know :blast
Anyway, being a fellow CCM owner ( all right it's an elderly 644 supermoto ) I wouldn't mind a bit of a drool over your 450SR if that's ok

I think it helps that it's essentially the same bike, just with a Husqvarna 6 speed box, different exhaust and some bling. The 17 plate might give it away though :blast:D

Thank you Kev :thumb

No charge, help yourself to as much bier as you want .... but put a generous donation in to the box for each drink (like an approximation of its real price) all of which will go to The Great North Air Ambulance :thumby:

CCTV in operation :D

N'night folks :thumby:

:beerjug:

A whole lot of outstanding work and key note speaker preparations for next week will unfortunately mean that when I leave at lunchtime most of it will not be finished :D

Up the A1 for me then A659 across and up through the middle of the Dales, it's my best how do I get into the Dales without towns and do as much of the Dales to Dent as I can route.

...if you get buzzed by a Hexhead GSA with a Yellow Top Box it was me
