T'was a great weekend folks, thanks to y'all
Will post some photos up tomorrow, but in the meantime thanks to everyone involved. Thanks JB for the ride outs, I know everyone thoroughly enjoyed
How the feck Rocket Ron could post up that it was his first and last Dent Event without telling us why I don't know
I forgot, how could I, at the end of the raffle, to ask folk to raise a glass to absent friends ... we addressed the issue on Sunday evening though, in the George and Dragon, by raising a glass to ol' Trickytree ... RIP
Maybe the £1,100 + you feckers raised for the Great North Air Ambulance will save someone else life eh

I think he inhaled his tent halfway through the night then exhaled it shortly after, it was his finest hour.
There was a right twat in the bar in the Sun, maybe that was Ron? Pissed off because he wasn't the wittiest man in town?

Thanks to Tony (Harry the cat) and Fran (Magnet) for a couple of great ride outs. I don't usually like riding in large groups, but both days where an absolute pleasure. Maybe it says something about the quality of the riders in the group.
Rather embarrassingly I laid my bike down in the car park on the last coffee stop on the Sunday, not my fault obviously, but no harm done.
Big thanks to Micky and Sue, and what a great result for the Air Ambulance.
Only downside to the W/E was watching Rossi bin his bike on the last lap at Le Mans.

I had a luvvly sleep Sunday night, in fact, went a bit too early. Quiet and relaxed with no distractions.
It was windy on the ride south down the M6. Felt like I had some water in the tank as bike was hiccuping at low speed when heading to the motorway from Dent.
Next time will bring a woolly jumper.

It was a very graceful lay down though Steve - we all thought you were just in a hurry to get to the front of the queue for the last bit of chocolate cake
Everyone has already thanked Micky and the ride leaders, but I would like to say a big thank you to those who donated prizes for both the auction and raffle. Not only did they donate prizes but also bought pounds worth of raffle tickets. All the money raised will go to the Air Ambulance and I am sure that Micky will be along shortly to post the exact figure that 'you' raised.
