I'm going over on the Friady morning on the DR, so you'll probably pass me somewhere near Chester :o

I suppose the new GSA will be going now Wizard and the poor DR will be left at home? :)

I'm trying to secure a booking on the freight only ferry from Warrenpoint to Heysham on the Friday night. If all goes well I will be leaving Heysham at 5.30/6.00 am and will arrive at the EM event in plenty of time to join one of the rideouts. :bounce1 :thumb

He's currently building a trailer so he can tow the DR behind the new toy and do the Fords ride. :D

Is the Warrenpoint ferry open to anyone or just those with a freight connection,? Not condidering it for this trip as arrangements already in place but would be interested for the future. :thumb

Morning sailings are open to anyone Thunder, but freight has priority on night sailings. :)

The ferry can only accommodate 12 drivers, accommodation is basic but comfortable and the grub is pretty good. The price of a morning sailing covers breakfast and dinner on board, cabin which sleeps two (bunks) and two free drinks. Cans of beer or minerals. :beerjug:

Hopefully my freight connections and the fact that we ship 100/150 units per week on this route will be enough for me to secure a booking for next Friday night.

I am booked on Friday night's Warrenpoint to Heysham boat and should arrive at the EM event at about 9am. Just in time to pitch the tent and join one of the rideouts. Can't wait. :bounce1

Hope you lads have a good crossing :thumb

Looking forward to meeting up on Friday night
