Can anybody shed some light on this problem I have been getting just recently?

About a week ago the forum has started displaying in a very annoying manner that I can't make any rhyme or reason as to why. I haven't done anything with the iPhone settings it just changed the way the forum is displayed out of the blue!

Below are some images from the iPhone to help get my point across.

The image on the left (on the iPhone) shows the same bloke on his GS twice, duplicated basically, with 'click here to subscribe' and below that 'get latest posts'.
Below this the same duplicated images are repeated but this time with 'User CP Register FAQ Members List' etc etc with huge columns in between each sector, as can be seen in the right hand image.

Basically all the images on the front page are enormous, and I have no idea who this guy is or why he insists on being seen no less than four times on the front page or even why he overlaps the banner width!

The left hand image here shows the huge gap between the image and where the threads start and the right hand image shows the bottom of the page with posts 1 to 25 of 46 , and yet there is no page to turn to to see the posts from 26 to 46.

Below is a small section of how the front page is displayed on the lappy, correctly.

Any ideas 'cos I'm totally stumped? :nenau

Yes yes, I know, iPhones are crap , but there needs to be a reason why this is happening and a way to get it back to how it was only a week ago.

odd..I have no such issues on my iPhone :nenau

Smells like user error to me...are you a fiddler? what have you fucked about with?

If you'd read my post you wouldn't have needed to ask that question.

Sorry Jay... neither of us were much help. :comfort

This isn't going to be much help either but.... nothing has been changed this end and I have just checked with my iPhone and all looks fine.

It has to be a 'local' issue.

No worries, the comments I can handle :beerjug:, the display I can't!

Cheers Paul, I didn't think for one minute it would be the website end but either way, I just can't figure out how to get it back to how it should be. At least with comps you can do a system restore.

I had the same problem with my iPad twice last week when I had no wifi and a very poor signal. I just cleared the Cookies and data and the problem went away.

Thank you Doug , lie down .... I think I love you! :beerjug: :thumb

I have issues on the iPhone and iPad. iPad doesn't show the usual trip reports and country sections and iPhone text is really small and all to the left hand side of the screen. For the last 2 years since i started using these devices there were no problems. Strange!

Try using the Atomic web browser as an alternative to Safari. Atomic seems much quicker and I find it easier to use for opening links in new tabs etc. It's also better than Safari for online text entry into forms, purchase orders etc.
