UKGSER new thread, max 20 pages?

Is there any way I can get all the new threads on here as a couple of times I`ve been away from the computer for a week & all the new threads only go back 3days or so & 20 pages maximum.

Click the new posts box and select the option that says 'since last visit'.


Or....(and this is how I do it......it's a nifty shortcut)... do this step by step.....

1) Left click 'New posts'
2) Right click 'Since last visit'
3) select 'Properties'
4) copy the text in the 'address' box
5) right click on your desktop
6) select 'New>Shortcut'
7) Paste the line that you copied in step 4 into the box that says 'type the name of the item'
8) Click Next
9) name the shortcut@new Gs posts' or whatever you want
10) Click Finish

Job done......now you should have a shortcut on your desktop that takes you straight to the new posts...you'll have to make sure you have the 'remember me' bit ticked in the login page , and obviously be careful if you're not the only one to use the PC 'cos otherwise someone might post as you

I do use the "new posts since last visit" but it only shows me a maximum of 20 pages when I know there's more?? I was offline for over a week & the 20 new pages only covered 3 days

Don't worry. About one third of a page is usefull, the rest is shite. I should know. I'm up to around 1500 posts, at least 1450 of which are complete shite...

Some people have problems finding the 'Any' key Steve

I looked and I don't seem to have one. Closest I could find was "Alt". Where do I get one from? Is there a FAQ about fitting or should I ask BTBR?

Go into your User Control Panel (user cp) and select edit options....make sure you haven't got itset to only show posts from last three days......make sure it's set for show all posts

Just checked & its set as yours is show all posts I still get a maximum of 20 pages of threads

Try putting in show new threads of 30 days ago & see how many pages of threads come up?

Hmmmm

Try clicking on the forum home page, then select the Beak & Bollox and go to the last page...it should show 716 pages.....

That's the other way of doing it........just do the same for each forum...unless you'd been away for a loooong time, the only place that might possibly have more than 20 pages of new posts is the B&B.

If you use this method, you should still see the threads with posts you haven't seen in bold .
