UKGSer Wobble Box Weekender II - 17-19 September 2027 - Campers in tents welcome, too

this is a somewhere that you can most defiantly have a fire the site next door has a pub/ restaurant that you can use and is walking distance though a little woodland trail. Its a lovely coastline with a steam train route less than a mile away.

there's glamping and cottages also onsite along with fairly basic large toilet and shower block.

very relaxed atmosphere

next door to

which is a great site but no fires allowed and has pitch numbers where as break farm you can park anywhere and therefore circle the wagons . they provide old steel car wheels for your fire sell wood and kindling as well as eggs from the farm and other basic goodies

and there's a large military collection 2 miles away

and finally it also happens to be the 40s weekend is Sheringham when everyone dresses up and rides the steam train etc
Fun times !

Via a totally unrelated thread on the forum, I tripped over a brief mention of a large private campsite at Old Buckenham, Norfolk.

A quick Google search has turned up the details:

One to maybe lob into the mix.

Been there numerous times. Not to camp though.
The owners son used to be friends with my son when they were school age.
My two kids went to Old Buckingham school just round the corner.

It’s “ ok “. There’s not a lot round there though.

Saying all that, it was 15+ years ago. The owners may have changed.

Thank you.

Now off the list.
No, keep it on the list. :thumb2
The coast is only 30 mins away. The weekly bikers meeting on the green is very close too.

When I said there’s not a lot round there I meant pubs / nightlife.
