Love Ullapool we stopped there on our NC500 ride. Missus pointed out a timetable at the bus stop at the end of the front. There was one route with one bus a week!

I was in Ullapool Friday now touring Scotland weather has been really good . Surprisingly not seen that many motorcyclist on the NC500
I’ve seen five uk plates but the rest from Netherlands and Switzerland. Camper vans are in abundance thank god it’s not July or august
On the isle of sky now what a fantastic place to be

Was very busy there on Saturday, just remember not to park on footpaths in Scotland, you'll get a ticket. Lovely day, lots of bikes, incl jonny foreigners.

Take a side tour along the single track to achiltibuie, my home village. Spent my youth scrambling over the hills there on various DTs

Off to Gairloch and Applecross today. There used to be a lesbian cafe (with cats) in Gairloch with amazing apple crumble. Hope it’s still there.

Scotland will soon be full of Belgian and German bikers. They got off the ferry in Hull yesterday morning.All the ones I spoke to were heading North. Everything from classic BMW’S to sportsbikes, Harleys and one old CB750 which barely got off the dockside.

The ‘season’ is upon us.
