Just sent off for some Ultraseal gunk, which seems to be the best of the bunch for puncture prevention. Has anybody had any experience of inserting it or riding on it?

I've been using it for about 4 years and have experienced no bad effects from it. I have ridden 2-up at speeds over 120 mph on the GS and my previous Yamaha (not UK officer). Touch wood I have not had a puncture to know how well it works. Once you put it in your tyre it feels very weriod for the first few hundred yards then you don't notice it. A friend of mine removed it from his ZZR1200 as he said it caused a vibration. I like it for some piece of mind.

Hi, used it for quite a few years now and as stated is good for peace of mind. Just do as it says on the box and you can't go wrong.

I fitted (fitted?) it in my 1200's Tourances a few weeks ago. The container takes a bit of squeezing, especially towards the end. You could do it by the garage airline- would look a bit strange though, but I used one of those pump things (you can tell my technical level, yes?)that fits in the car cigar lighter. No problems fitting & I haven't had a puncture yet, but then I hadn't had a puncture before either. Or is this heading for "does the fridge light go out when you shut the door?
Just do it

great stuff :thumb been using it for the last 4 years no probs just do as it says on the box as easy as that, ride regularly over flint with no probs yet (touch wood) :clap :clap

I have enough for one tyre in a bottle & have a small compressor which i carry on the bike . One of my mates had a nail in his tyre which caused it to go flat, so put the gunk in & inflated it with my compressor pulled the nail out & spun the wheel & it worked a treat .
