Thanks for this and the other suggestions, none of which worked This crafty Antivir programme won't allow me to download anything.

My PC is now with a Computor Wiz who's going to reinstall Windows for me. Apparently, that is all that will work with this. He's fixed a few PCs for other numpties who'd installed this on their PCs

Got my PC back all Antivir free and sparkling. I just now need to find where my iTunes library, Mapsource and photogrpahs are.
