Well, actually the A30 and A303.

After my rather worrying puncture, discovered as I was about to adjourn to the pub on Friday evening Uncle Albert stepped in and repaired my rear Tourance. It ended up a bit of a pain and the hole took 2 plugs to seal it...
Peter.. many, many thanks. It got me home. :beerjug:

Thanks to many others who also gave assistance...
special thanks to Greg Masters.. without his electric pump we would have been worn out doing it by hand (Oooh missus).
Yeahbut... who gave me his can of Tyre Weld to take with me.. Just in case.

Also a big thanks to Pod and Bob who rode back with me at a rather leisurely pace... I have to admit I was a bit nervous of getting a blow out... they must have been bored stiff, so thanks a lot lads.

Great club support... long may it continue.

Probably right to have been a bit nervous about the tyre staying up.
I went over to Micheldever Tyres today in the hope I could get it repaired... no such luck... the hole was far too big (you could see daylight through it once the plugs were removed) and the fitter seemed suprised the BWM repair kit had managed to plug the hole successfully (I've done about 400 miles since the temporary repair).

Oh well, another £92.82 bites the dust for a new Tourance.
A bit upsetting seeing that the old one had only done about 2000 miles.
Such is life... :(
