The dealer didn't put one in they are sending me one what should be in it?
Is it any good?
Any useful tools that need adding to it?

A torx set will be usefull. Especialy those that fit into a socket set driver. Contents of the kit though does rather depend on you confidence in using them.

.....prepare to be presented with the worst O.E toolkit that you have ever seen.........Nothing at all like the 1150s, and that was probably crap compared to the 1100s.... etc..... etc.....

yep i agree, worst tool kit ive ever seen, i thought they had forgotten to put all of the tools in when i picked bike up

If I were you, I'd leave the tool kit at home & fasten a recovery card of some sort in it's place. It'll weigh less, corrode less & be a damned sight more useful!!! :bounce1

Whatever else is missing, make sure you get a deep reach spark plug spanner.

When you do a spot of impromptu fording and ingest water into your engine miles from anywhere, you'll be glad you carry it.

I know someone who suffered engine damage to their 1200 due to BMW's poor toolkit after a fording episode. Obviously they shall remain nameless, but they know who they are.;)
