Universal intercom pairing....Sena to Scala

As I understand it press the jog dial button on the Sena (or equivalent on the 10u) until it says 'universal pairing' then have the other set get into it's pairing mode, then press the button once and the two sets should pair after a few seconds.
This has worked between my SMH10 and several other different makes of bluetooth - seems to be fairly problem free and successful. Bear in mind that you can only pair with one non Sena set at a time but you can still talk to other Sena sets whilst paired to the non-Sena one

I've just completed a two week trip to Spain. We had my Sena 20u paired to a Scala G4. The Sena sees the Scala as a paired headset, but the Scala sees the Sena as a GPS connection. No issues with audio quality or range, Only 'issue' was the Scala couldn't initiate or end the connection. Easy to work around but not perfect.
We paired the headset by using the Sena Universal pairing mode.
