A word of advice please from anyone recently returned from NW Africa.

We are going to be following the Atlantic down to Dakar and sticking to the tramac for most of the way. I'm wondering if unleaded petrol had made it any further south than Morocco.

I would rather not foul up my cat if it can be avoided.
So far I havn't been able to source replacement headers at a justifiable cost.

If I do use leaded, I know the CAT will be goosed. Is there any effect on the Lambda sensor ?

Cheers.

Once in to Mauritania and Senegal there is no guarantee of unleaded, in fact some of the stuff we bought on the first Scoots in the Sahara trip looked positively radioactive and even the run on anything C90's struggled on it!
