Morning,

I did a reasonably full check over the 12gs last night - oil, lights, battery, pressure, tyre wear, etc - and I noticed that (a) i have slight scalloping / irregular wear on the front Tourance, which needs replacing anyway, and (b) a couple of front spokes are making a distinct "donk", rather than "ding", when tapped with the tyre pressure gauge.

I was wondering 1) if the two observations were likely to be related, and 2) in any respect, what to do about the spokes issue?

Is it a warranty service thing, or just a matter of retightening until they're back in tune and/or torqued to some particular value?

And what about the ones which are only slightly off-key?

Hints and experience welcomed.

Used to be an issue with breaking them on d'elevenfifty.. Always the same side on the back wheel too..
I just used to keep spares and adjust myself with my less than perfect pitch ear..
Really doubt it's related to the tyre wear... Unless you've forgot to mention that it shakes like a clothes drier on spin.

I doubt it's covered under warranty, as it's probably classed as wear and tare.

Cool. I'll go piano tuning, then.
