waterproof shockproof even put it in the freezer and it works[i am told]
and my other camera that i have around my neck on a cord is a Sony DSC T2
cracking little camera with 4gb built in memory.

Oberalppass cont-
half way down i turn left towards the Lucomagno pass towards Italy.
where i come across all riders nightmare Rider down
The R1 rider had over cooked it on a long downhill bend hitting a ford mondeo.
the picture shows the air ambulance approaching which took less than 20 mins
.
i don't think the guy was badly hurt as he was fully conscious and was concerned for his bike.
we all know the risks

As Italy appears, i come across fields of grape vines
and a marble quarry where health and safely has not arrived yet.
[same as most places i traveled ]
having unloaded many lorries of marble during my crane opp days i am aware of the wieght of this stuff [heavy]

it getting late in the afternoon so i head the windy route back to Andermatt via stunning local roads towards the Gotthard.
where i meet some local, even though none of us spoke each others language we larfed so much i had tears in my helmet.
such friendly people.

some say the Stelvio pass is the best.
on a personal note, i don't think it is !! stunning it maybe, high yes but so are so many other pass's and don't forget the pass get a lot of traffic.
the views are stunning and it's a nice place to spend some time .
have a sausage ,buy some trinkets even buy a sticker.

time to head down the stelvio
And find a bed for the night.
only to find there is some sort of music festival going on in the area.
so it took a while and i end up in a " SPORT" hotel.
halfway down some nutter wants some euros from me for looking at his odd artwork.
after i taught him some English swear words i continue on my way
