Doing a bit of surfing t'other night, I managed to pick up one of those scam progs "Security Anitvirus". Apparently I've got umpteen bugs and it regularly flashes upa warnig that etc etc until I pay out a fortune.

Bugger that. My normal scan via comodo shows no problems.

I tried to remove the beast by usinf the Add / Remove Programs on the Control Panel but casn't find the bugger which is only to be expected I suppose.

What next? I'm on the basic version of MS Vista.

I had it and never clicked anywhere near it

My non technical approach was to shut down the computer in the normal way snd then restart and it never re-surfaced

Judge from here, looks after my computer and he has done his monthly check today and all is well......................so I can't have done anything wrong
