Got this years renewal for the 1250GS, £200 more than last year's already hefty (sole quoter) offering. Went on MCN, ended up with a quote (Hastings) lower than last years with better cover and a lower excess. Go figure.

Assuming the difference between getting only one quote last year and this years multiple quotes (some of them eye-wateringly high, but still at least they quoted). I haven't moved, I still have max NCB, still been riding for "a while", still insist on using the bike for business trips. The latter adds quite a lot, be interested to know how they work that out given accident stats show significant uptick for accidents is evening rush hour and people who don't ride all year.

Another positive example for Hastings this year (see Andy b1375 Thread Anyone had dealings with bike sure?)
I used a different comparison site to you and they still won. Maybe this is the first Tip-top top-tip just go to Hastings.......

Last year they said they couldn't cover, IIRC because of the business use. Maybe they've revisited that topic, and realised it doesn't add significant risk over commuting
