Just a short trip today – 304 miles for me, door to door.

This is a view along Loch Naver. Not ridden this little road before today – won’t be doing it again in a hurry – far to much grit & debris, even for me.

Headed for Strathy

There is one hell of a drop beyond those bikes, believe me. Moody Vara surveying the terrain . .

Eventually headed south towards Helmsdale – the heavens opened up on us with a vengeance on this 30 odd mile leg of the ride – no photo’s taken. But the downpour stopped just before we got to Helmsdale, thankfully.

PS - Please note the continued absence of any BMW's in this post ;)

. . If I ever get back from the sand, there may be a BMW in the photo (if I can keep up of course :augie :augie)
:beerjug:

So when you back in the land of the living?
Yer man tells me he's sorted yer bike, so there's no excuse to carry on hiding in the desert :augie :D

As for you having to keep up with me - Aye, that'll be right :eek  :thumb2 Tuther way round, me thinks

Safe sun bathing & hope to see you soon

Latest "plan" is home at the end of July for a wee while, but knowing this lot that'll change. If I want to get many miles done this year I'll have to start riding in the kind of winter weather Steve T enjoys...Mileage between MOTs was embarrassing when the bike was done in a couple of months ago.

Andi, can you manage a couple of drams for me, one won't be enough. :jager :jager

At least I'll be here and not having to watch too much coverage of the World Cup (and none of the build up) :flag

Think of all the cats SWMBO will be able to buy with all the money you've saved on fuel:D

TenaLadies Bikes

Steve you need a nice Tenere:augie

You is a naughty man who's gotten me into bover before with one liners like this :aidan :D :thumb

Latest XRV is a belter - one owner for 11 years, 16k miles, never ever seen salt. And would you believe it was hiding in a garage in Rothes! And the owner came looking for me . Must be the "MUG" tattoo on my expanding forhead :D

Steve you need a nice Tenere
And I happen to know a man who has (at least had before I left UK) one.....

Bikes all still going well Stumpy? How's Fiona?

No more :Catrun:Catrun as SWMBO was talking about me needing a new bike. We're down in Bonnyrigg for 10 days from 24th May, so I may just pop into Dalkeith, although apparently they don't make the 1150 anymore :(:(:D
