For those that read my last ride report will remember i said i would explain why i ended up back down in the tarn gorge sooner than i expected, here is the reason.
It was all planned, i would get back from my month away with my mate steve, and then 8 days later i would be heading for Nice via the auto train from paris with my good lady, and from there to Italy and the dolomites, and back up through Austria and Germany, Belgium, France and home. This would be our month long annual holiday on bike. I should explain first that my lady has a habit of changing her mind at the drop of a hat with very little provocation, so maybe its my own fault for firstly telling her how much i had enjoyed the tarn gorge, and then secondly showing her all the photos from the trip, because a couple of hours later she is asking if i would mind not going to Italy and the Dolomites, but instead could we go to the tarn gorge and back up through the central masiff and the loir Valley and through the somme and then back to home, How the hell she came up with that plan in just over an hour is beyond me, It turns out that she had picked up a couple of michelin green guides of those areas from a second hand book shop and had formed a plan while i was away, full marks for initiative then. I thought about it for a while and mulled over the logistics and time scale, and said ok lets do it.
So thats how i came to be doing some of the places again in such a short time.
Now i have no intention of boring you with another ride report going over the same ground again, but i will post a few pictures of places we went to, and i hope you enjoy them.
