had the clutch playing up after the bike stood for about 6 weeks -started to slip when given the beans -took the starter of to see -well anything really -and all seemed well -dry -took slave of and all clean and dry -out for a spin still not right .took out pushrod -looked ok but i could smell the gearbox oil from the hole it goes in but no oil on pushrod -cleaned the bit of rust of the tip of pushrod -bled the system -all back together . clutch does seem to be holding-seems to have just sorted itself out so fingers crossed 
its a tc that has not been abused and done 18 k so plate should be ok - anyone else had any issues with clutch-was going to empty a can of clutch and brake cleaner through the gap when starter is of as a last resort
