Hi everyone going to upgrade my Streetpilot 2610 to either a Garmin zumo 350LM or for a little more money the Garmin zumo 660:confused: any advice on which one would be apprciated, many thanks Boo:thumb2

350 has only been out a week or two. Latest thing with plenty of internal memory which was becoming an issue for the 660 (though you can work around that). Being the latest Garmin the 350 will probably have a few bugs that should get ironed out. The 660 still has some...

660 will offer things like MP3 player and phone via Bluetooth and the option to hard-wire into an intercom. The 350 has a few more minor bells and whistles despite lacking the MP3, phone BT and hard-wire options. However, the core navigation capability is pretty well the same (as is that of my aged StreetPilot 2720 to tell the truth).

At the end of the day it's down to what you need out of the GPS. The 660 is becoming more and more keenly priced. I got mine for £320 a couple of months ago. The 350LM comes with lifetime mapping but with a new, or NOH, Garmin you'll get the latest maps and shouldn't really need to upgrade for a year. A separate Lifetime Mapping subscription is currently £50 from Handtec, £75 from Garmin for the same product.

That should be downgrade! I think the 2610 is a better bike device, if yours still works try loading openstreetmaps to get an up to date map.

As has been mentioned the 660 has all the bells and whistles so if that's what you want then a newer device makes sense.

My 2610 still works and with up to date maps does the job I need better than the later machines.
