i think i may have upsett our american friends ,on the airhead section of adventure rider.
there was a post about trying to save weight ,by shaving down, and skimming of some metal etc from the final drive on an airhead, some by milling out the inner drive ,and some by reprofiling the big drive wheel /cog .
well to me this seems a bit dangerous to say the least ,and a bit unteated.
so i suggested the biggest weight saving would be if they went on a diet !!!.

ill look later to see if ive been blackballed:D

I've just had a look and ...............

No, it's not for me to spoil it, I think you'll have to look yourself.

Good luck.

As the original poster is Dutch they probably didn't take the hint.:nenau:nenau

To be fair that is a pretty standard comment in other sections of the forum on ADVRider, especially the Oilheads section!

I got as weeks ban for suggesting to a bloke who posted a picture of him and his daughter that cutting out the macdonalds would be more beneficial to his daughters health than ATGATT that they were preaching about in the post. :D

I enjoy reading ADVRider forum a lot but there are some pretty whacky posts on there from our friends across the Pond. Just don't mention torque wrenches. Most will not go near a bike without one. Even if they have no tools nor knowledge of the workings of a bike, they 'must have' a bloody torque wrench. And don't ever question their wisdom on that subject as this will result in a welter of disagreement.:rob
