Urgent - Can I fit BMW system panniers on an 1150 fiited with a Remus Revolution

Can anyone tell me if the panniers will fit with a Remus Revolution can...am supposed to be collecting tomorrow and need to know if I will have to fit the standard can to bring 'em back.

yep

They'll fit straight on to rails without a problem.

Just make sure the can tip is at least 1 1/2" from the pannier side if you've got a Mway (constant throttle) ride planned as it MAY burn the pannier side.

I've never had this happen and if the Remus is the later type it will have a longer tail pipe to stop this happening

My Revolution sits pretty close to the pannier - so have fitted the bwm heat reflecting foil to the relevent place on the pannier.
No problems since!

It's tight, but fits OK. Get a heat shield for peace of mind. This was discussed a while ago, details here

It's worth getting the little attachment to bend the exhaust gases lower ...... esp with panniers fitted.
