No,it has to shaped tabs that clip in to place. It's not a lockwire job.

Failing that could it not just be pushed together and taped up with electrician tape till you get one. least you will be able to ride in the dark.

Along the same lines, I guess a cable tie around it when its pushed together wouldnt work

WTF is it with paper clips, you'll never get one to fit, f$^ me that's real good advice chaps........
good one, go to a car breakers...... all the h4 / h7 bulbs have the same clip.......
failing that ride with the side light on, as it will be + the fogs/ spot lamps.
