Ok. So you want to be famous.... :cool:

Actually, this is NOT the way to become famous but it is a call out for a casting session being held next Tuesday the 13th July and Wednesday 14th July looking for body doubles for the American series Sons Of Anarchy (links below). Details from the Production Company below, the range of actors to be doubled has increased so do forward a pic or two of yourselves with details (height, weight, chest, waist and shoe sizes) - I'll add a few pics of some of the actual cast, and yes, this IS a paid gig. Bikes (Harleys) will be provided, along with wardrobe etc. Email Judy at [email protected]

Sons of Anarchy Casting Call

Sons of Anarchy is Kurt Sutter’s iconic biker series on FX set in Charming, California and is currently in production for Season 3. One storyline brings some of the action to Belfast and local producers Katy Jackson and Kevin Jackson are seeking body doubles for some of the lead cast. Some of these doubles must be able to confidently ride Harley Davidsons.
Motorcycle riding doubles for the characters Jax (Charlie Hunnam), Clay (Ron Perlman), Billy, Opie, Chibs, and Happy are sought.

A double for Katey Sagal as “Gemma” is also sought, but need not be a motorcycle rider.
Height and build are the most important features, to match up. Age, facial hair, hair length and colour are also quite important, but make-up and wigs can be of assistance.
Photographs of the cast are on the Sons of Anarchy and IMDb websites.

Filming will be in the third week of July and anyone interested should be available on days between 15th and 23rd July, although you will not be required for more than 4 days during this period.

Are you seriously telling me that they can't find doubles in America? And who is Judy and why has she only got a hotmail address?

Well as it's a doubles thing I reckon actual height will be relative... That's not to say they'll go for someone who's 5'4" but y'know, 5'9" upwards is probably acceptable. Oh and the fees will be around the £150 - £200 per filming day if that's any more of an incentive... :aidan

*sigh* The point of body doubles on a shoot in Ireland is to save on bringing actors over from the US, paying flights, accommodation etc for what will be cutaways and wide shots to establish the location. The principal scenes will still be shot in the US. I'm posting this as I'm a member of the site, also a local director and was approached by the production company who are line producing as they know I'm a biker.

Judy has a hotmail address as she's a freelance Production Co-Ordinator. If you need validity, just call the Production Company on +44(0)28 90271950 and ask for Katy or Kevin...

Great.

A little background (like possibly the production Company she's representing?) might make suspicious people like me less likely to jump to the wrong conclusions. I assume from the phone number that it's for "4x4
Production and Post" in Belfast?

It might only be doubles work, but a company name and some background will make it far more likely that the request will be taken seriously :nenau

They're filming in Ireland, you wazzock!

Cheaper to have local doubles than fly over and accomodate American ones.

Matt, I understand your role as a Moderator is to keep things above board, but it was hardly difficult for you to check out the company by the published number, and yes, the line producers work for 4x4 Production and Post, Belfast. And yes, you are terribly suspicious - if i have access to the site and the site's photos, what would anybody be exposing themselves to other than what is already accessible? You also have access to my details and mobile number soooo....

Anyway, hope this has cleared things up for you :comfort

I was thinking that if any UKGSer can double for Charlie Hunnam then I might end up stalking him, until I scrolled down. He's let himself go in the last decade: I hope the hair & tats are just make-up.

I can't help on two counts.

1. I'm not in Ireland
2. None of the actors take a medium t-shirt.
