Early bikes were USB B, after 2025 they got USB C, not sure of the cutoff date

Doesn’t it depend on what your phone is? 
I initially used the right angle USB-C option from Amazon - now using https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CYM9CJLN?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_3&th=1 with a Quadlock Mag case. Removed BMW tray and used heavy duty velcro to attach to compartment base - perfect!

I thought it was a USB-A in the small compartment on the GSA? Only thing is it wont take my phone whilst charging because the plug extends to far and it wont fit in.
I chuck mine in my top box and charge it there. Absolutely need it as using with my Chigee drains the phone like crazy…

Did you try a 90 angle for the cable?
I know the GSA has a smaller compartment but I can fit and charge an S25 ultra no problem and it's as big as it can get (with a case even)

yes, I just went out to the bike. The GSA compartment just fits a phone with very little to spare. Even with a 90 degree plug its going to be very tight. I have an iPhone 13. I prefer to keep coins, my ear plugs and motorway tag for France in it and charge my phone in the top box.
