Hi lads,
Want to fit a usb charger for my phone on the bike. Loads to choose from so any advice greatly appreciated.
Something that comes with everything that attaches to the battery inline fuse ect.

Cheers Doc

I would (and have) fitted a Healtech Thunderbox allied to a Quadlock (or similar) phone holder/charger. 👍

Thunderbox

it's a good device. I have added one to my V85 as there is no 12V socket on the bike, just a USB outlet on the dash.

I have wired the Tbox to the battery and connected the optional trigger wire to a switched live. This means I can draw power from my new accessory socket without the engine running, to power my tyre pump or satnav.

As I did on the RS, I have a 12V socket on a fly lead rather than a fixed socket. I can clip the socket to the bars if not in use or extend the socket into my tank bag to give me power in there.

There are 3 more outlets on the Tbox if I want to add more accessories.

the Tbox is a neat but not a cheap solution and on my last bike I did something similar using a piggy back fuse onto a switched live circuit. It was a less neat solution wrapped in self amalgamating tape, but very cheap. The latter involved soldering and heat shrinking connections which I am experienced and confident in doing. The Tbox is easy peasy in comparison, especially if you do not bother with the trigger wire connection, relying on the device auto sensing the engine running.
