I have succesfully loaded everything onto my PC at home :D, however, I want to use my Zumo whilst travelling with work. I have a laptop for work and want to know if there is an issue with loading all of the maps etc onto a second PC ?
If not, what is the best way to go about it ?
Download again from the Garmin website or, install City Navigator Europe NT 2009 that came with the Zumo - unopened, as I updated to 2010 from the website ?

Please bear in mind that me and computers are not the best of friends :augie

Cheers,

Rich.

I just installed everything the same on my travel laptop as on my home PC :thumb2, and have just updated to Maps 2010 on both. :aidan

So, 1st off I installed Maps 2008 form the original disk I had, and then downloaded the updated and ran the instal program for that, took quite a bit of time to download and install, but it is done.

I believe some people have been unable to do this, but I had no problems.

BTW I used the same zumo to plug-in to both computers.

Ditto, installed on laptop and my netbook with no problems.

When I dlownloaded 2010 I saved the .exe and just copied it to my netbook.

Garmin's official line is that you can install MapSource (and unlock it) on as many computers (PC or Mac) as you like, and synchronise your GPS unit with any of them. As advised by their tech support.

I have it on work PC plus home Mac.

Thanks for all the info. I will now attempt to install it, either using the CD/DVD, or website, or may try copying the .exe file.

Thanks again,

Rich.
