Differences between a R1200GS Factory Low & Standard

The R1200GS Factory built Low is fitted with three different components in order to achieve the lower seat height @ 790mm:

a) Shorter Shocks front & rear
b) Shorter main & side stand
c) Low Seat

For approximately £300 it would be possible to convert to a standard GS by the simple retro fitment of used standard components:

a) Standard Shocks front & rear @ £150
b) Standard main & side stand @ £100
c) Standard Seat @ £50

However, I'd anticipate that most would choose to take the opportunity to fit new upgrades such as Wilbur Shocks @ £1,400 & a Sargent Seat @ £400

Check with Revs before you make any decisions based on Wilbers short shocks. I was told they only do 80mm shorter, which is a lot. I would have gone with 15mm but they weren't available.
