I may buy a US sim card to use in my uk phone which is a Samsung Tocco, the blurb with the SIM says my phone must operate at 850/900/1800/1900 MHZ.

How the feck do I know if it does?

That's a good deal Tim and I wish I'd seen that earlier as I won't get that in time:blast I normally just get a pay as you go SIM from a local provider stateside but that one is great with teh UK minutes.

Don't expect great coverage though as At&T aren't brilliant but we are going to teh middle of nowhere:augie

I nipped into the (VCRD) Vodaphone Cash Removal Depot after work on Bake's recomendation, the fake tanned blonde with a furry face spotted me eyeing her cleavage so wasn't particularly helpful but it seemed Bake's info was duff and the deal he'd got wouldn't be suitable:D:D

for your info T Mobile do quite a good deal on PAYG, I got a non contract sim card for $30 in Radio Shack, got about 700 minutes, internet and 100 or so texts.
