Hi sharing in case of interest.

Using Claude I have created a project into which I have loaded a PDF of the BMW workshop manual and the Dellorto carb manual. I then instructed Claude to refer only to the items loaded into the project memory when I ask questions. If the information is not in the source material, it will ask permission to search online.

So far, the answers have been accurate and it remembers all previous conversation in that project, so is able to cross reference.

Very interesting.
I had a light-bulb moment recently when in my garage I realised that I could "hey Google" the correct torque settings for my rear wheel - using my smart speaker - like having an "expert" mechanic at my disposal.
What you're doing is ring-fencing the data that the AI utilises to use a specific and known trustworthy source.
Brilliant idea.
