Using CN ME V4 on two PC's

Howdy,

Just bought CN Middle East V4, installed on one PC, unlocked and tranferred to Garmin card, and able to use it in my 276C. No problem.
I want to use it on a second laptop, so installed it, but cannot unlock it.
The unlock says it has already been unlocked.

The CD came with an 8-character coupon, which I used on line to unlock the first installation. they no longer send you a 25 character code which would let you unlock for a second PC.

Is this the same as looking for a second unit unlock code, which I understand is now not possible? Or is there a way around it on the second PC only?

I have earlier maps installed and unlocked on more than one PC, what has changed I wonder?

The software is already unlocked.

Read the 25 digit/letter unlock code on your original PC and type into the second PC

Saving unlock code

I keep a copy of the unlock file on removable media in case I loose the actual number or the pc dies ..

Hi,

Interesting, I woke up, remembered the 25-char code is available from 1st PC, just tranferred it to 2nd PC, came here to type wot I dun, and lo, the answer lay before me.

So - Utilities, Unlock Wizard, View My Unlock Codes, and copy from that PC to another.
