using "Smilies" in MS messenger

At work we have Microsoft messenger where you can write a pop up note to anyone on our network. Can anyone tell me if I can download additional "smilies" (or emocicons as MS calls them) and use them on this or not and if so how?? My colleague is a proper sm*rt arse and is always showing me something new with this and I would love to send him a note with some of these or similar smilies to wind him up.

Yep. Go into "My Emoticons", and click on create. You can then add any that you've copied to your hard disk.
