V-Can 210 Helment. Second Bluetooth devices required

I've got a V-CAN 210 helmet.

I've got a second (Caeberg) non-BT lid and want to add rider to rider communication.

I tried a cheap and cheerful one of these BTHM80 but it won't pair with my V-Can BT.

Does anyone know if these devices can pair or have any ideas if a second BT add-on device that will pair with my V-Can helmet, short of me buying a second V-Can lid ?

If all else fails there's a BTHM80 going cheap if anyone wants it.

Any ideas ?

If it's bike to bike, i.e. over a reasonable range then you need to buy kit from the same manufacturer as this is a proprietary technology, no two manufacturers are the same. That aspect of your headset isn't actually proper Bluetooth, there's no recognised standard.

Quite why they, the manufacturers can't agree on a standard between themselves? Probably in fear of the Chinese making kit that's compatible with theirs.
