Riding through Nottingham yesterday and pulled up behind a v8 engined bike. Painted green and appeared to be very well done. Sounded great as you'd expect from a v8. He gave it some beans from the lights but my airhead easily stayed with him so more show than go.

anyone know anything about it?

Gave it some beans eh? It would likely sound so even if not being revved particularly hard.
I doubt anyone would give a V8 bike proper welly in town traffic.

:blast Here we go...'a well ridden...' :augie
Given that it was in an urban speed restricted zone and they appear to have been riding within said limits almost anything would 'stay with him'.....so it's no measure of any lack of performance of the V8 and even less so of how capable you may be deluding yourself that your airhead is.

Back to the OP - a friend of mine who lives near Hucknall has a V8 Kannon bike in green. Its only the small version with a 5.7 chevy engine :)

Tarka,
Stop being so negative! Your missing the point completely. I know exactly where my gs fits into the grand scheme of things in terms of performance (between a donkey and a 250 super dream).

Any chance of some pics? It looked really well put together and sounded great.

Have seen this bike also in Eastwood was parked up at a garage talked to the guy riding it your right it is custom built running v8 and auto transmission only running it with 1gear selected ,he did say there was a mod so that he could use all the gears in the box but said it didn't need it
It was green and black i think ..:thumb
