Note there are 2025 pre-reg versions of the Travel in bronze for £11k, a grand less than I paid a year ago.

Finally a different colour for the Travel, quite nice if a bit understated

one caveat, the .co.uk website above is owned by MotoGB, the UK importer. The deals may not be available at all dealers, just their own branches. A&D, for example does not have the pre-reg bikes.

It’ll be interesting to see the new colours in the flesh. The grey and red is probably my favourite but the green when I see it?

It looks like Moto GB are the importers now. I hope they up their game with the after sales and spare parts situation. I bought my first Stelvio from them in 2009 at Millenium Motorcycles.
I now have two dealers within approx 5 miles.

they are hoovering up bike shops like the ex Pidcocks in Nottingham at quite a rate. I just hope they are not over-geared like Completely M/c or M/c City/Carnells as they are carrying a lot of franchises as importer and retailer.

I agree. I remember back to the late 70s when the guy who owned the business used to work from home on a by appointment basis. I believe KJM died a couple of years ago and his son has taken over.
His first shop at Wrightington, Lancashire, 'KJM motorcycles' was built IIRC on the site of Bob Smiths old shop which was an alladdins cave of old Brit stuff. The business has certainly grown over the years.

This seems to be a pattern. Expand till bust. JJH

I bought mine from what was Wigan Yamaha, so Moto GB and found them dire.

Can’t see it getting any better.

always has been in the motor trade in the UK

Completely were great when they had just one used bike shop, hoovering up part exchange bikes the main dealers did not want. I bought my S1000XR there as I lived nearby. I dealt directly with the owner as it was just him and two others front of house in 2018.
Expanded before Covid & Liz Truss on the back of near zero interest rates. Took on new bike franchises with all the dealer stock plans running into millions in debt. When it came time to refinance those loans after interest rates had increased, it quickly became evident they no longer had the cash flow to service the debt. Massaging their egos by sponsoring a BSB team did not help.

I’d like to have a reputable and reliable dealership in South Wales!

they are a bit thin on the ground. A&D are 90 mins north of me. The HD dealer, Sycamore in Wolverhampton is an hour away but they are new to Guzzi so still not sure about them.

I got so used to having most marques nearby when I lived in Cheltenham, with the excellent Frasers in Gloucester near my office as the local Guzzi dealer. 2 hours away now.

That’s the only thing standing between a Guzzi and me

petition MotoGB to get one of their dealers to sell Guzzi. They have a few they supply in Neath, Merthyr & Cardiff but they are only taking things like Benelli & Voge.

Now my bike is out of warranty I did the 6000 mile service myself, plus the the gearbox and final drive oils. Fairly easy to do, and got the parts from Gutsibits. Only issue is I can't turn off the small spanner service light, but I just don't notice it, so not a problem.

When the Stelvio goes in for a service in August I will have to book their V85 demonstrator for the morning .

Its a great ride from Swansea to A&D real V85/Stelvio country
Hmmm…. Buy a bike from A&D, have a ride around Northumberland and the Borders, call into A&D for first service on my way back to Swansea! Might well be a plan there!
